Penni

penni

Penni Blythe-Jones, (Director and Founder of the Centre for Creative Change) lives in and works from Northumberland in the far north of England. A designer and leader of innovative workshops and programmes of leadership, personal and organisational transformation she has always had a hugely varied career. The common theme has been a passion for, and curiosity about people - what inspires and motivates them to learn; create profound change and contribute to the world around them.

After establishing a National reputation in innovation, change and development in the Further Education and Associated Fields, as well as working in Business, Teaching and Youth work; Penni established her own business of Education, Consultancy and Transformation (Hamdon Education & Training) in 1994. Moving in to this full time some eighteen moths later she soon encountered Coaching as a powerful approach to individual and organisational transformation. Recognising this had always been part of her work she felt there was now a context and focus for the passion she carried.

One of the pioneers of Coaching and Transformational work in Europe Penni subsequently graduated from the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) Foundations, Intermediate, Certification and Leadership programmes; and the Newfield Network Mastery in Ontological Coaching and Integral Pathways programmes. Always seeking to leave a legacy she co-founded the organisation that established the CTI coach Training Programme in Europe.

At the same time she made the decision to make 'conversations for compelling change' the key focus of her work, quickly growing a client base of 1:1 and group work in a number of key sectors; Corporations, Education, Voluntary, the Arts.

And, in the year 2000, the Centre for Creative Change was formally born.

Currently she brings her energies to individuals and organisations through bespoke programmes of Coaching, Coaching skills training, Transformational Team building and Organisational change - and is about to train as one of the Newfield Network's first Team delivering Ontological change programmes in Organisations in Europe.

'I see all my work as a series of powerful, compelling conversations which inspire fundamental and lasting change in individuals and organisations; that have us look at what we are up to in the world, what we are creating and what we can contribute. For me this is particularly pertinent as we face the challenges of environmental change; much loss of meaning and..'

'My passion is for all people and organisations to feel they have a voice that matters; know the gifts they are in the world; and feel they have meaning and purpose in their life.'

'I create a safe place and relationship for transformation and learning, consequently my own development is central to this. I actively continue my journey of learning, change and growth.'

Always passionate about our impact in the world, Penni is now in the process of establishing a Foundation which will be a major legacy of the Centre for Creative Change. This will be a charitable Trust to resource Education; Restoration, Ecology and Sustainability; Community Building and Transformational projects around the world that grow and emphasize the interconnectedness that sustains the planet.

Additionally Penni donates a percentage of her time to coach young people, mentoring new and experienced coaches and those who would otherwise find it difficult to afford Coaching. Her leisure time passions include her cat, Jennifer Whiskas, singing and being a Board Member of a Local Arts organisation - 20,000 Voices.

"The True spirit of my work is to bring people - individually and collectively - into joy, life, song and action that inspires them to live their passions - weaving a new tapestry of being.. a new cosmology. "

Graham

graham

Graham Jones is the Company Secretary and another C4CC core team member.

Originally a Pattern Maker in the Foundry Industry he subsequently became a Works Manager in a Major aerospace Foundry. Making his first major career change in the 1992 he established an extensive reputation as an Holistic Gardener, working with a number of private gardens and small estates in South Somerset. Returning in his 50s to his first love of wood he is now a craftsman with his own business; designing and making handcrafted, bespoke wooden doors, gates, tables and associated items.

In addition to his company Secretary role he is a vital contributor to numerous practical and marketing aspects of the business. Currently he is finalising the design for and will be co-building, a studio extension to the family home which will also be a space for company meetings and some workshops.

Graham has been involved with all the planning required to set up and take C4CC forward over the years, and continues to be a valuable strength and supporter. He has also attended various courses to heighten his understanding of C4CC's work and further his own learning.

A powerful advocate of the C4CC, he has personal experience of the impact this work delivers. 'I love talking to people about the power of C4CC work. Directly applying their principles has been invaluable when changing my own career path and establishing my business in Northumberland'.

Jo

jo Jo Elcoat started work with the Centre for Creative Change in December 2009 as Penni's PA but also focussing on the Centre's research and information needs. Having moved to rural North Northumberland (via a few twists and turns) from a hectic pace of life in the South-East she is now building a portfolio of work and clients. Her time is divided between work in a local library, administrative and information management contracts and her own historical research. For the last two years much of her 'free' time has been spent completing her professional qualification in Library and Information Studies and she is now looking to find new challenges and explore new ideas in 2010. The Centre for Creative Change is embarking on a period of "major change" and Jo looks forward to contributing to this exciting stage in its development.
