Corporate/ Organisational Work
I work exclusively with organisations looking for ‘something different’.
Those which seek to challenge why, what and how they do what they do – in
service of ethical and sustainable success. Organisation based work includes:
- One to one coaching conversations. The focus on the whole
person is integral to the relationship - the context is that of the working
environment. This can include: facilitated conversations, engaging peers,
reportees, or an individual's Manager - to add range and depth to development.

- Conflict resolution/ relationship building - for more

For larger projects I have a network of creative and highly experienced associates
to pull in. We have worked together in many diverse situations and bring this
substantial experience to your service.
Individual Work
Begins with a ‘Design & Discovery’ session (approximately two
hours). Where possible this is face to face (if not, or with overseas clients
this can be over two or three phone calls). In this time we:
- Identify key priorities for attention
- Agree the frequency of conversations
- Introduce key principles of working
- Design our relationship
- Begin to work!
The length of programme varies. On average, an initial engagement is six months. Conversations
can be:
- On the phone
- Face to face
- A mix of both
- Weekly, fortnightly, monthly – regularity is crucial for sustained
change – frequency depends on your aims and context
As part of our conversations the Client and I develop assignments and practices
to support and integrate new learning, changes and actions.
We keep these conversations under continual review, and adjust our work to
suit.
At the end of the period of work there is a closing conversation to focus
on progress and outcomes and to ground the future using this experience.
Some clients then contract for a quarterly or annual ‘MOT” session.
Bespoke Retreats
These are individually designed and take place deep in the beauty and peace
of the Northumberland National Park.
Typically Retreats are 24, 36 or 48 hours long. This is a unique opportunity
to create space and time to explore what is top of your agenda, whilst being
nourished by the landscape, wildlife, magnificent skies, and home cooking,
made with quality, locally sourced ingredients.
Retreats are designed to give an opportunity for intensive change – through
reflection, nurturing, challenging, exploring – and accessing often forgotten
depths of creativity.
There is time for:
- Listening and being heard
- Reflection
- Walking
- Meditation
- Art/ storytelling
- Music
- Deep learning - in a different way, in a different space, at a different
pace.
